Available in a variety of colours and finishes, our powder coating service allows you to customise your wheels to match your style.

Our skilled technicians ensure a quality finish, giving your vehicle a fresh, sleek look. Trust Next Wheels & Tyres Malvern for amazing craftsmanship that revitalises your wheels and adds value to your vehicle.

1. Removing the Wheels

Prior to starting the wheel refurbishment process, we offer our customers a set of loan wheels (keeping you on the road) or the ability to leave your vehicle at our CCTV-secure facility. Once agreed, a member of our team will remove the wheels from the vehicle.

2. Tyre Separation

Using cutting-edge tyre fitting and removal equipment, we fully separate the tyres from their wheels, including the valves, sensors and weights.

3. Stripping the Wheels

The wheels are then sent to our dedicated paint-stripping chemical room. Our team works to remove the paint, dirt & grime from the wheel, returning it to bare metal.

4. Weld & Buckle Repair

The wheels are then inspected for buckles, cracks, or depressions. If any are discovered, the customer is informed. With your permission, we then straighten the wheel or repair any damage using high-grade aluminium.

5. Curb Rash Removal

With experienced hands, our skilled technicians fix curb rash damage with bespoke tools and techniques.

6. Sand Blasting

To remove rust and corrosion, the  wheels are sandblasted (i.e. using compressed air,  sand is propelled against the wheel). This process helps to give the eventual final paint a smooth and superior finish.

7. Powder Coating

The wheels are then heated and de-gassed in our custom,  room-size oven – an essential step in removing air and moisture for a smoother finish. We apply primer and return the wheels to the oven for curing,  adding colour coats between oven treatments for a long-lasting and durable finish.

8. Diamond Cut

A popular service,  where our experienced CNC technicians operate a diamond lathe machine to finely cut the edge of the alloy wheel,  which restores the wheel to a superior finish.

9. Quality Lacquer

The final painting stage uses a clear superior-quality acrylic lacquer powder,  which gives the wheels a beautiful finish and extreme durability. At this stage,  the customer has the option to give the wheels a high gloss,  satin, or matt finish.

10. Protection Kit

Our popular wheel protection kit provides your newly refurbished wheels with an enhanced  defence against weathering. Select our high-quality Ceramic Coating and choose from an assortment of Rim Protector colours.

11. Caliper Enhancement

An optional but highly-popular service,  which enhances the look of your calipers to compliment your newly refurbed alloys. We sand and strip your calipers, apply undercoat, primer, top coat and our signature lacquer!

12. Completion

TMPS sensors or valves are put back onto the wheels. The tyres are then fitted onto the wheels and balanced with weights by our electronically controlled balancing machine. Finally, the wheels are fitted back onto the vehicle, which is returned to the customer.

My partner went down a high kerb by accident, causing our wheel to get buckled, we called Next Wheels and within 30 minutes it was repaired and we were back on the road! Highly recommended!
